How we work with you

Engagements shaped around your business.

Some clients need a finance leader on a regular schedule. Others need a specific problem solved. Many start with one and move to the other.

Fractional leadership

A CFO or controller, part time

Senior finance leadership on a regular schedule: running the finance function, guiding decisions, and representing the numbers to lenders and partners.

Project-based

Defined work, clear scope

Focused projects such as a close cleanup, a forecast model, lender reporting, a systems upgrade, or preparing for diligence.

Ongoing support

A steady second set of hands

Regular help alongside your bookkeeper or finance team: reviews, reporting, and an experienced second opinion when decisions come up.

Software

AR Collections Desk

Our product for collecting receivables from your weekly QuickBooks export, with letters sent from your own mailbox. Prefer it handled for you? Our Desk Service runs it on your behalf.

The value to your business

What changes when the finance function is in good hands.

Reliable numbers

Financials that owners, lenders, and investors can trust and act on.

Faster cash

Receivables followed up on schedule, and working capital managed with intent.

A plan to grow

Forecasts and targets that turn ambitions into decisions you can measure.

Ready for what’s next

Prepared for a capital raise, a new lender, an acquisition, or a sale before it arrives.

Big-company discipline

The standards of a large finance organization, without big-company overhead.

Why we founded the firm

The same caliber of financial leadership, for growing businesses.

Large public companies have deep finance organizations behind every decision. Small and growing businesses usually have a bookkeeper, an outside accountant, and an owner who carries the rest.

We founded Gleeson & Co. to give those businesses access to the financial leadership large companies take for granted: cash discipline and collections, reporting that owners and lenders trust, planning and forecasting, and the groundwork for an acquisition, a capital raise, or a sale.

We are a family-owned firm, built for long-term, trusted-advisor relationships. We plan to add advisors, specialists, and services over time, and to grow alongside our clients.
